The Top 10 Blog Interview With…..@MySOdotCom

Welcome to the first ‘Interview’ of 2011 and what a start to the New Year! Kevin Green is a great Twitter character who operates under the handle of @MySOdotCom.

Kevin, who is an author, speaker and traveler will be well known to many of you for his amazing Twitter stream of super links, quotes and fun.  All in all a great guy to connect with so if you haven’t done so yet click on the image below to find out what he’s all about.

If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed one luxury item what would it be and why?

I love this question. At first I thought it was a deserted island, nope just an island that is all desert. A computer, free Wi-Fi no way. Not  luxury items, they are in the basic necessities column. Hey why am I stranded anyways? United swears the flight tomorrow is still ‘on time’ ???? Well just in case the oceanfront luxury hotel on this island made of sand doesn’t have decent coffee, my luxury item I’m bringing is  Starbucks Sumatra, Sugar in the Raw and Half & Half. Damn that’s 3 things!

Do you have any phobias?

No phobias, sorry to disappoint everyone  – well – I don’t like spiders & snakes but that ain’t what it takes to love me, like I want to be loved by you –  RT Jim Stafford lol

Who inspires you and why?

I thought about this a lot. There are so many people that I could list by different interests but the real ‘who’ that inspires me are the people I meet that have an open heart with a desire to change their world.

Which animal would you most like to be and why?

Tony, you got me reading too much into these questions. I don’t really want to be an animal – YET. Now that you told me I will be turning into one I will become a cheetah. Why? The fastest animal on the planet, hey I like being on top, and a cool color scheme to boot.

What is the one thing in life that irritates you the most and why?

People that won’t pass GO and collect their $200.00. There are so many ways we can learn to enrich our lives and others. I love to inspire, train and make you a new set of keys, but if you won’t TURN the key that works in the lock, stop complaining that the key doesn’t work.

If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?

Omni-linguism I looked up a list of the superpowers and this one seemed to hit the spot. The ability to understand any form of language. That would be awesome as I like to travel a bit. Didn’t Wonder Woman have it? How could you go wrong with that she’s still a – ah – Wonder, don’t you think?

What do you think you will be doing in 10 years time?

I think I will be replying to The Top 10 Blog’s Interview question for the oldies reunion. I know I will be doing about the same things I do now, speaking here and there, traveling  the world most of the time, oh and finally writing the first article for my blog. (ok that one might not actually happen till 11 years from now)

What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

An Espresso Nutini from Francis Ford Coppola’s Cafe Zoetrope. Lavazza espresso, Chopin Potato Vodka, Bailey’s with a splash of Frangelica. Sounds simple, but if Lisa hasn’t made it you have missed out on ‘The Experience’

Which historical character would you most like to meet and why?

I am having a hard time with this one so I am picking two.

a)  John F. Kennedy –  An amazing short life.  I love it when someone makes it to a position, when the status quo says you shouldn’t have. BONUS the real scoop on Marilyn Monroe.

b)  Nostradamus –  This guy was a prediction machine with no modern resources to do it.  I want to let him know his stuff plays on the HISTORY channel 2/3rds of every day. BONUS If it isn’t crap I can start figuring out what to do in 2012 when it all ends.

Can you tell us one thing about yourself which would surprise people who know you?

Nothing would surprise people that ‘know me’ They already know I’m crazy, ok tidbit for them, I break your one idea a day rule that you gave me DAILY! OK for everyone else – mmm – still thinking. can I schedule tweet this Tony?  Almost became a preacher, was a DJ but DJ KiTTyKaT was the name given to me by fans not me – meow!, oh I am still a Canadian eh? See breaking the one rule again.

Many thanks Kevin for getting the ‘interview’ year off to a storming start!

  • Gina SuuperG Stark

Excellent interview and fun, unexpected answers! I’ve connected with Kevin on Twitter mainly over our mutual coffee affliction/addiction/affinity but it’s awesome to get a further peak into this fun smart duude! But Kevin, listen up, we need to convert you to organic sugar. Sugar in the Raw is so….rustic! lol Try it…it’s still naturally golden and smoother and finer…dissolves better and faster in your breve. Trust me on this! *This has NOT been a paid message* heehee Cheers! G
