The Top 10 Blog Interview With…..@OnlineFantastic

Although Wednesday is traditionally ‘Interview’ day on the blog I really should have posted this one yesterday on #traveltuesday.

Lucie Hys aka @OnlineFantastic is a Social Media expert in the travel industry who spends her spare time indulging her passion for Social Media, blogging and being ‘a wild child’ (Lucie’s description, not mine!).  Clearly a lady who loves life and definitely one to follow.

If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed one luxury item what would it be and why?

I would keep my private yacht with full tank of gas.  I love desert islands… for about a day or two at the maximum though.

Do you have any phobias?

Many. Spiders, snakes, lost internet connection… Just kidding or am I?

Who inspires you and why?

My grandfather. At the age of 80, he knew the answer to every Jeopardy question quicker than any of the contestants. I thought it was incredible.

Which animal would you most like to be and why?

Definitely a cat. I’d love to have 7 lives.

What is the one thing in life that irritates you the most and why?

Rudeness. Being nice is not a weakness and it doesn’t hurt, but I guess many people don’t get that.

If you could have a superpower what would it be and why?

Reading the minds of other people. Interesting, entertaining, bit dangerous – I like that combination.

What do you think you will be doing in 10 years time?

I hope the same I am doing now – living my life to the fullest and just being happy.

What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

Sweets. I am totally addicted to sugar. Cheesecake anyone?

You are holding a dinner party and you can invite 3 people (living or historical), who would you invite and why?

I would go with Albert Einstein, Pete Cashmore, and Bill Gates [the fact that they're all men is a pure coincidence ]. Jokes aside, I’d love to pick these “brilliant brains”. I am sure I’d learn a thing or two.

Can you tell us one thing about yourself which would surprise people who know you?

I hardly ever relax. The moment I open my eyes in the morning my mind is going 100 miles per hour.
