Top 10 Music Artists I Celebrate Life With!
Sade
I love her lush voice and cosy music. She’s to me a precursor to lounge music. A very nice woman too!
Enigma
For their great ambient music space in each album. They made me re-discover Gregorian chant! Â I love to loop their CD’s for hours and do some manual work like painting or cooking.
Bjork
An amazing artist with a huge vocal range, original, true and so creative! An inspiration to me!
Pat Metheny with the Pat Metheny Group with Lyle Mays
I just love Pat and Lyle. I’ve had the chance to work with them both at the Montreal Jazz Festival a few times and I admire their skills and passion. I’ve listened so much to those CDs that I can sing along to the guitar’s solos!
Madonna
One of the most influential music artists of this era. I’m overwhelmed with her capacity to re-invent herself after each album. I like the fact she’s not just a singer but an actress and entrepreneur. She sure knows how to surround herself too!
Patrick O’Hearn
If you get in my car, sooner or later you’ll hear that CD! It’s my music for the road that I keep listening to with a few of my fav songs from Patrick. I love his music for it allows me to meditate but not fall asleep. I love Trust, Slow Time, Milan to Alessio Top Down.

Lisa Gerrard
I discovered Lisa in Dead Can Dance. I love the soundtracks she does for television and films. An accomplished music artist with a deep jaw-dropping voice.
Loreena McKennitt
A fellow Canadian I discovered when I started working as a sound engineer back in 1988 at the Juno Awards in Toronto. I was impressed by her presence, deeply rooted yet her voice traveling in the air like an angelic breeze. She’s my role model for my own career as well as she’s handling all of her affairs…. like me!
Annie Lennox
Listening to an old Eurythmics album of mine recently brought back a lot of treasured memories of the 80’s. Lennox is an inspiration not only as a singer and songwriter but also as an activist. Annie is maybe one of the greatest white Soul singers!
Diana Krall
Amazing pianist and singer with whom I had the privilege to work with on the album Stepping Out back in 1993 and I fell in love with her velvet voice! A pure pleasure to see her live!
Many thanks Marcomé for a beautiful list.
